Notification of Mining activities - Focus Minerals Limited

Focus Minerals Limited do hereby give notification for the commencement of surface mining activities and site construction work at the Bonnie Vale Mine Site.
These works include the following activities:
- Clearing of Vegetation and Topsoil
- Boxcut mining by drill and blast, load and haul methods
- Waterponds excavation by drill and blast, load and haul methods
- Construction of surface infrastructure including dewatering pipelines
- Portal blasting once boxcut is mined.
For the safety of personnel, equipment and the public, a blasting exclusion zone of up to 750m will be required, blocking off the Coolgardie Nth road, Bypass road and the Mt Burgess road. Temporary Closures will be put in place during blasting times.
The blasting is only planned to occur during the daylight hours and is planned to commence in 1 weeks’ time (02 July 2024). About six blasts are planned over a period of 3 months and the public will be notified.
