Regrettably, on June 30th, 2024, ABC Digital TV services ceased on the Optus D2 satellite, and then SBS DTV on July 1st resulting in the unavailability of these services in the Shire.

We are collaborating closely with technicians and are awaiting necessary parts expected to arrive by the end of this month. These parts will enable us to temporarily restore the main ABC and SBS parent channels only while we await the arrival of a new headend and an upgrade that has been ordered from overseas.

The new headend will enable the ABC and SBS DTV services to be received from the VAST satellite platform, which is the signal location of the WIN, GWN and TEN Central DTV services. Please refrain from contacting the shire broadcast technicians directly as there is no more information available that they can share at this time.
