We are thrilled to announce the arrival of two exceptional doctors to the St John General Practice in Kambalda. Dr Tim Taulke-Johnson and Dr Palaniyappah Suresh bring with them a wealth of experience, expertise, and a genuine commitment to providing the best possible care to their Kambalda patients.
As part of the Shire of Coolgardie’s Community Strategic Plan the Shire is committed to providing vital services such as health care to the community.

The Shire of Coolgardie has taken leadership in GP services in an extremely difficult environment to ensure the community has ongoing access to GP services. We welcome Dr Taulke-Johnson and Dr Suresh to the Shire of Coolgardie”.
Dr Tim Taulke-Johnson is an accomplished general practitioner who received his medical training in London. With a passion for athletics and a love for dogs, Dr Taulke-Johnson brings a warm and caring approach to his practice. Beyond his professional life, family holds a special place in his heart. Having worked in various countries such as the UK, India, Switzerland, Taiwan, Solomon Islands, China, and Metropolitan and Regional Australia, he brings a unique global perspective to his medical practice.
Dr Taulke-Johnson’s qualifications include an MBBS from London, along with other qualifications that further enhance his expertise. In addition to being fluent in English, he is also proficient in German, French, and Mandarin, enabling him to connect with patients from diverse linguistic backgrounds. With his broad range of experience and compassionate nature, Dr Taulke-Johnson is committed to delivering personalised and comprehensive care to every patient he encounters.
Joining Dr Taulke-Johnson is Dr Palaniyappah Suresh, a highly skilled general practitioner with an impressive background. Dr Suresh completed his medical studies at Medical College in Sri Lanka in 1996 and has since accumulated extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Prior to moving to Australia with his family in 2010, he worked in different hospitals in Sri Lanka, specialising in Orthopaedic Surgery, Accident and Emergency, as well as General Practice.
Dr Suresh’s dedication to providing exceptional care is evident through his interests in men’s and women’s health, as well as children’s health. His expertise extends to managing chronic diseases, skin cancers, sports medicine, and industrial health. As an accredited Travel Clinic Doctor, he possesses the necessary knowledge to address the unique healthcare needs of travellers. With fluency in English, Sinhalese, and Tamil, Dr Suresh effectively communicates with patients, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
His qualifications include BBS and FRACGP, further emphasising his commitment to continuous professional development and the provision of high-quality care. With his vast experience in the health field, Dr Suresh is well-equipped to address the diverse healthcare needs of his patients.
