Residents of Kambalda enjoyed an evening of entertainment as the Kambalda Monthly Movie Series wrapped up its latest season with a screening of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" on Saturday, May 11th, at 7 PM. The event, held at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility, brought families and friends together to watch the sequel to the popular video game-inspired film.
The audience was engaged from the start as Sonic's well-known theme music played and the film began. Viewers followed Sonic and his new friend Tails as they navigated various challenges, evading the villain Dr. Robotnik.
"It was great to see so many people come out and enjoy the movie," said Estelle Barange, organizer of the Kambalda Monthly Movie Series. "The energy in the room was high, and Sonic's humor clearly resonated with audiences of all ages."
The event offered the community a chance to come together and enjoy a shared cinematic experience. Attendees appreciated the action-packed film and the opportunity to connect with others.
Looking ahead, organizers of the Kambalda Monthly Movie Series confirmed that there will be another season of movie screenings.
