Every Thursday morning a group of quirky ladies get together at the Kambalda
Community Recreation Facility to create some amazing patch work quilts. They bring along their sewing machines, basic sewing supplies and material requirements for their projects.
There is always laughter heard throughout the facility when these ladies are in.
Along with their biggest project to date, Comfort Quilts for Cancer which they have sent well over 100 to the organisation located in Northam. A new project of creating toiletry bags for Goldfields Womens Health Care Centre is also well underway and if you are able to assist with new toiletry products please come along on Thursdays and talk with our ladies.
The group warmly welcomes new members to come along and join them every Thursday from 9.00am.
