Over 100 children aged 5-11 years braved the cold weather to attend our first SNOW Party, held on Friday, April 19th, at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility.
Kambalda Police rocked the party as DJs, while local Connie’s Café served up delicious treats. The highlight of the event was the snow-themed costume parade, where children showcased their creativity and stopped to the music for snow statues to win fantastic prizes. It was a great sight to see children and parents alike frolicking in the fake snow.
But the fun didn't stop there!
Coolgardie Youth, aged 12-18 year were bussed to Kambalda and joined forces for a snowball fight and sliding extravaganza. With local Police keeping the beats going as DJs and Center Care staff demonstrating how to create slime, the event was a hit. Youth warmed up with some friendly sports competitions and were treated to ice cream and light refreshments.
