Care Packages prepared and given to Meals on Wheels recipients.

All Meals on Wheels recipients in the Shire of Coolgardie will receive a bonus to their meal delivery next week with the addition of a care package.

Thanks to Ricketts Benckiser, Woolworths and the Shire of Coolgardie, Meals on Wheels recipients will receive a Pine O Cleen Disinfectant 1.25L, Pine O Cleen Surface Wipes 120 pack and a Glen 20 Disinfectant Spray Original Scent 300g.

The Meals on Wheels program has now been running for 12 months and a total of 63 residents across the Shire receive two freshly made meals per week. They are delivered by a team of volunteers sourced from Shire staff, St Johns Volunteers and MEEDAC staff members.

The Meals on Wheels program is sponsored by the Shire of Coolgardie, Goldfields St Ives and Northern Star.
