On Wednesday 24, January the Shire of Coolgardie held an Australia Day Crafter-noon. Parents brought their kids down to the Kambalda Community Library to paint and decorate Australian flags to be displayed on Australia Day.
The kid’s imaginations and creativity went wild as they designed their own flags they laughed and had a great time.
Tiny hands carefully painted and adorned their flags with symbols of Australia – from iconic kangaroos and koalas to the Southern Cross, each piece told a unique story of the young artist behind it.
The flags were then put on display in the Kambalda Public Library for everyone to enjoy.
