ANZAC Day, observed on the 25th of April each year, stands as a solemn day of remembrance for those who served and sacrificed in the military. This year, the Kambalda Community Resource Centre marked the occasion a day early with a heartwarming event designed to engage the community's youngest members.

On the 24th of April, the Centre hosted a special ANZAC Crafternoon, inviting kids of all ages to partake in an afternoon filled with creative activities. The children busily crafted felt poppy pins, assembled delicate tissue poppies, and enjoyed coloring in themed pages, all in honor of the ANZAC spirit. The room was alive with the vibrant colors of their creations and the cheerful chatter of participants.

The success of the event was made possible by the wonderful individuals who came together to celebrate and remember this significant day. Their participation and enthusiasm helped create a memorable and educational experience for the children, ensuring that the legacy of the ANZACs continues to be honored and understood by the next generation.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this special day of crafts and remembrance. Your presence and support made it a truly special occasion.
