Kambalda West's Lions Park was transformed into an open-air cinema on Sunday, December 1st, for a delightful and cozy Movie Night, organized by the Shire of Coolgardie. The event brought locals together for an unforgettable evening of fun, laughter, and cinematic magic.
As the sun set and the cool evening air began to settle in, families, friends, and neighbours gathered at the park, ready for a relaxing night of entertainment. The big screen was set up, popcorn was popping, and the buzz of excitement filled the air as the clock struck 7:00 PM — movie time!
The feature film for the night was IF, a heartwarming and imaginative tale that captivated everyone from the very first frame. Moviegoers of all ages settled into their own cozy spaces, with blankets, chairs, and picnic setups creating the perfect outdoor cinema vibe. Many brought along homemade snacks and drinks adding to the laid-back, community atmosphere.
The Lions Park, with its wide-open spaces and starry skies, proved to be the perfect backdrop for the event. The sound of children's laughter, the hum of friendly conversations, and the shared joy of the community made the evening feel extra special.
A big thank you everyone who came along to make the evening a success. If you missed it, don’t worry—more exciting events are sure to follow!
